Successful board performance is a critical ingredient in the positive impact of your non-profit. It is vital that boards can identify and are clear about the roles and responsibilities of Board and Staff in the successful operation of your non-profit. This course is for board members and will explore differences between governance and management; the role of the board; legal responsibilities for a Board of Directors; and more.

Students will meet in-person on the Aims Loveland Campus and also complete online coursework through D2L. Login information for D2L will be emailed to students 3-5 days prior to the start of the class.

This class is part of the Board Training opportunities and the electives of the Nonprofit Leadership Academy.
