This high-level course is designed to be an overview, equipping you with foundational marketing skills necessary to effectively promote your mission and engage your audience. Through a blend of theoretical insights and practical applications, you will explore key marketing concepts tailored specifically for the nonprofit sector, discuss the role of ethics in nonprofit marketing and learn best practices. The course covers audience segmentation, branding, storytelling, digital marketing, social media strategies, content creation, and fundraising campaigns.


Students will meet in-person on the Aims Loveland Campus and also complete online coursework through D2L. Login information for D2L will be emailed to students 3-5 days prior to the start of the class.

This class is part of the NLA Essentials Certificate.
