Audience: This class is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. If you enjoy outdoor activities or adventuring in the mountains, this class will be crucial if you are faced with an unexpected emergency. You will learn first aid basics, how to manage a medical/injury emergency before EMS arrives, preventing illness and injury in life or death situations, adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and AED use and opioid-associated emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
Payment/Refund: Payment is required at time of registration and this class has a non-refund policy.
Attendance: Late attendance (greater than 10 minutes) will constitute and absence and forfeiture of payment. Transfer requests to another session, if available, can be made by contacting the CPR Coordinator (cpr@aims.edu) up to two (2) days prior to the scheduled class.
Cancellation: Notifications will be sent by email if Aims has to cancel a class for any reason. Students will either be rescheduled to another class or refunded the registration fee.
Location: Windsor Campus, Public Safety Institute PSI 220, located at 1130 Southgate Dr., Windsor, CO.
Waiting List: The CPR program does not participate in the waitlist feature of this registration system.
