After becoming familiar with safety procedures and general protocols of the woodshop and tools, students will construct a cutting board and spatula or spoon. They will learn the joinery, sanding, finishing, and maintenance techniques necessary for these projects.

Loveland Creatorspace Woodshop Safety Rules: No loose clothing or dangling jewelry. Safety glasses are required (available at Creatorspace); hearing and breathing protection are optional; closed toe shoes are required, NO SANDALS.
