Introduction to Woodworking

This course will introduce you to the safety procedures and general protocols of our woodshop. Students will learn and have hands-on experience in safely using a variety of hand and power tools in the wood shop while constructing a basic wooden box and cutting board. Students will then be able to demonstrate they are confident and comfortable using these tools when completing their final projects.

Material for final projects will be available for purchase at CreatorSpace, or the student may provide their own. 

Loveland Creatorspace Woodshop Safety Rules: No loose clothing or dangling jewelry. Safety glasses are required (available at Creatorspace); hearing and breathing protection are optional; closed toe shoes are required, NO SANDALS.
