AM - {FUN}ctional Life Skills

In this course students will learn and gain basic life skills that they can use in their individual environments as they begin to become more independent in their everyday lives. Students will gain basic skills through hands-on learning including cooking, personal safety, cloth mending, budgeting, unplugged entertainment, and navigation. This class will give each student the opportunity to discover simple ways that they can start to become more self-reliant. At the end of the week, each student will take home an assortment of materials and skills learned along the way!
