This class is geared towards anyone with little or no medical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g., OSHA), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. This AHA’s BLS course trains participants in a blended learning environment. The majority of the class will be self paced online learning and you will complete an in-person skills test after you have completed your online learning. You will learn first aid basics, how to manage a medical/injury emergency before EMS arrives, preventing illness and injury in life or death situations, adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and AED use and opioid-associated emergencies. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
