Find your inner storyteller with place-based life writing including biography, autobiography, and memoir. In this dynamic class, youll experiment with basic strategies and conventions of oral storytelling and fiction writing including setting, scene, character development and developing your voice. Then, you'll craft personal narratives and explore the subgenre of trauma writing. Finally, the class culminates in discussions around publishing and presenting creative work! No writing experience necessary.

Course fee includes a copy of The Meadow by James Galvin.
