« back to classes page
This comprehensive workshop is designed to equip students with the essential skills to become “grant ready” and maximize their success in securing funding. Through hands-on exercises and guided instruction, students will learn how to identify, research, and evaluate potential grant opportunities to find the best matches for their specific needs. The course places a strong emphasis on mastering the Colorado Common Grant Application, a widely used format that, once understood, enables nonprofits to adapt to various grantor requirements with confidence. In addition to application writing, students will gain insights into effective grant management, building and sustaining relationships with grantors, and fulfilling grantor expectations to ensure long-term success. Whether new to grants or looking to improve current strategies, this workshop offers practical tools for successful grant applications and grantor engagement.
Textbook provided.
This class meets remotely via Zoom and utilizes the learning management system, D2L to complete online coursework. Login information for D2L will be emailed to students 1-3 days prior to the start of the class.
