This class will provide an introduction to a range of key concepts in Nonprofit Management including: understanding of nonprofit structures, governance, development, communications, planning, and financial management, as well as advocacy approaches and diversity, equity, & inclusion principles. This course is the overview course in the Nonprofit Academy.

This class supports nonprofit leaders who have not had specific course experience on the fundamentals of nonprofit management, and this course is also instructional to those seeking to shift into the nonprofit sector and/or advance in their nonprofit careers.

Textbook provided.

Students will be in person and will do additional coursework through D2L. Login information for D2L will be emailed to students 1-2 days prior to the start of the class.
