You will begin by building a foundation in basic botany, learning to identify eight key plant families in our bioregion while distinguishing between edible, medicinal, and poisonous species. Delve into the science and spirit of healing adaptogens, focusing on five potent plants and fungi that can be cultivated in Colorado. Learn practical skills as we create a herbal preparations together and discuss how to prepare other herbal remedies.

The final day is dedicated to the "Fungus Among Us," exploring the life cycles and benefits of powerful mushrooms like Turkey Tail, Lion's Mane, and Reishi. We will also thoughtfully examine the latest clinical research and safety protocols surrounding psilocybin. Ultimately, you will leave with the confidence to identify and utilize the incredible natural pharmacy growing right in your own backyard.
