CourseGraphic Students will explore the wonderful world of kiln-formed glass. Kiln-formed glass is an art form where separate pieces of glass are subjected to high heat (1200 F to 1600 F) to “fuse” pieces together. Students will be able to choose from several patterns including, but not limited to, Santa, snowman, gingerbread folks, gingerbread house, penguin. In this hands-on learning environment, students will learn about cutting glass, the physics and the art of glass. Your pieces will be fired, slumped and finished for you to enjoy. All materials provided, plus firing of your piece.
