This course provides an introduction to the field of recovery from substance use disorders, focusing on four professional pathways: Peer Support, Community, Clinical, and Administrative. Students will explore the history, market trends, and key statistics in the industry, understand the structure and terminology used, and learn about the population focus and available resources. By the end, students will have a clear understanding of the paths and which is right for them to pursue and what is required for a successful career.

This course will introduce students to the Aims Recovery Professional Program. Students can sign up for individual courses, or they can sign up for the full program for a discounted rate of $1,999.
