Curriculum Focus

The focus of this curriculum is to develop strong leadership skills. Our fundamental belief is that strong leadership is foundational in cultivating a safety culture. The focus of the program will be to develop and support strong leaders who will promote and establish a culture of safety. When leaders are clear communicators, they foster an environment of trust, respect, and open dialogue. By clearly defining expectations and providing feedback, leaders create an environment where safety is prioritized. (These are all skills that are incorporated into the program. Also, leaders who actively model safe behaviors and decisions encourage employees to follow safety guidelines and protocols, which reduces the likelihood of mistakes and accidents. In addition, a focus on safety culture will be reinforced through examples and scenarios we provide as trainers to illustrate the connection between these leadership skills in establishing and maintaining a safety culture.
