Heartsaver Instructor Course

The Instructor Essentials Course is designed to prepare Instructor Candidates to teach American Heart Association Instructor-led and Blended Learning courses. This course educates Instructor Candidates on how to adequately use Heart Association Instructor teaching materials, ensure that students meet learning objectives, offer student coaching skills, provide an objective skills performance evaluation, and follow Heart Association Instructor and course policies. The course covers core content and discipline-specific content required to teach Heart Association courses. This class is for K-12 educators who teach Heartsaver to K-12 students in a Colorado School District.
