This class will provide an introduction to a range of key concepts in Nonprofit Management including: understanding of nonprofit structures, governance, development, communications, planning, and financial management, as well as advocacy approaches and diversity, equity, & inclusion principles. This course is the overview course in the Nonprofit Academy.

This class supports nonprofit leaders who have not had specific course experience on the fundamentals of nonprofit management, and this course is also instructional to those seeking to shift into the nonprofit sector and/or advance in their nonprofit careers.

Textbook provided.

This course is completely online with no scheduled meeting times.  Online coursework and interaction will be conducted through D2L, the Aims Online Learning Platform.  D2L access will be provided via email a few days before the course start date.
