Celebrate the Declaration of Independence through the classic movie musical 1776, along with an inquiry into the events, challenges, risks and rewards facing the Founders and other important but lesser-known members of an emerging United States.  This course includes hands-on experience with resources published and produced in conjunction with America’s Semiquincentennial as we explore principles of the Declaration that resonate today. 

Students will receive a minature replica of the Declaration of Independence as part of their class fee.
