This college-level course invites you on an immersive journey to decipher the dynamic, multifaceted landscape of Latinx identities as revealed through literature. We move beyond surface narratives to analyze the cultural, historical, and social forces that shape and inform the lives of Latinx peoples in the United States and the Americas. Signs Preceding the End of the World by Lisa Dillman and Yuri Herrera
Story of my Teeth by Valeria Luiselli (Christina Macsweeney, translator)
Cenzontle by Marcelo Hernandez Castillo and Brenda Shaughnessy
Sabrian and Corina: Stories by Kali Fajardo-Anstine
