The Instructor course is designed to prepare individuals to teach others how to accurately perform BLS techniques as recommended by the AHA. Participants in this course will learn how to help others acquire the skills and knowledge they need to provide emergency care in a potentially life threatening situation.
Possess a valid AHA BLS Provider certification and over the age of 16
Successfully complete the BLS Instructor Course (this course)
Submit an affiliation agreement to the local Training Center
Aims TC Instructor Alignment Agreement form
Instructor Candidate Application form
Successfully be monitored assisting with a course taught at Aims within six (6) months of completion of this course and submit proof of which to the Training Center Coordinator (email@example.com)

Receive your BLS Instructor card by mail
Aims forms will be emailed to the email address used when registering for this course. Forms must be filled out and signed (by hand) then returned within thirty (30) days of course completion in order to align with Aims Community College Training Center
Payment/Refund: Payment is required at time of registration and this class has a non-refund policy.
Late attendance (greater than 10 minutes) will constitute and absence and forfeiture of payment. Transfer requests to another session, if available, can be made by contacting the CPR Coordinator (firstname.lastname@example.org) up to two (2) days prior to the scheduled class.
Cancellation: Notifications will be sent by email if Aims has to cancel a class for any reason. Students will either be rescheduled to another class or refunded the registration fee.
Classes are held in room 170 of the Public Safety Institute building at the Aims Windsor campus located at 1130 Southgate Drive, Windsor.
The CPR program does not participate in the waitlist feature of this registration system.
