Proper project management can literally save a company thousands of dollars a year, even if you are not in the project business. In this course, you will review the various types of project management and their history. You will learn the essential skill of creating an accurate timeline for your project as well as what a project charter is and why you need one. You will also gain knowledge on project management vocabulary, building an effective project team, how to do presentations on your project and prepare effective updates for your company leadership. After this class, you will be able to create and manage a small project and determine if your desire is to be a full-time project manager.
